1. Software interface only
Baton provides software that prepares Cardano transactions for your wallet to review and approve. It does not hold your private keys, seed phrase, protected assets, or an administrative key that can change your plan.
2. Your decisions
You choose every protected asset, check-in schedule, wallet, and recipient method. You are responsible for reviewing transactions, protecting keys and backup files, having legal authority over the assets, and following applicable law.
3. No legal status determination
A missed check-in is not proof of death, incapacity, abandonment, inheritance, ownership, or entitlement. The software is not a will, trust, escrow, fiduciary service, bank account, insurance product, or legal, tax, investment, or estate-planning advice.
4. Irreversibility
Confirmed blockchain transactions may be irreversible. The operator cannot pause, reverse, redirect, recover, or amend a handoff plan.
5. No guarantee
Software, wallets, networks, providers, and block production may fail or change. No result, confirmation time, availability, security, or fitness for a particular purpose is guaranteed.
6. Launch restriction
These terms are draft product copy. They are not final launch terms and must be replaced or approved by qualified counsel for each place where the product is offered.
